GoPositive Program: Free for School Classes

This workshop takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at MicroAtelier, 4A rue Dr. Nicolas Clasen, Luxembourg.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Come along and immerse yourself in the world of our rabbits!

To start with, you’ll help with some simple care tasks and learn how to handle the animals safely and mindfully, as well as getting to know their needs and their habitat. Then you’ll become plant detectives, searching the urban environment for edible wild plants for both humans and animals, which we’ll identify, feed to the rabbits and turn into delicious wild plant pancakes together.

In this playful way, you’ll discover how responsibility, knowledge of nature and sustainable nutrition are interconnected.

What you’ll learn:

  • Safety and hygiene rules when handling animals;
  • Respect and mindfulness towards living creatures;
  • The basic needs and habitat of rabbits;
  • Identifying and sustainably using edible wild plants for humans and animals
  • Applying knowledge in a playful way and recording it creatively

This programme was launched thanks to the kind support of Fondation Losch and Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte
